Do you want to build your leadership skills and help those we serve at WISEPlace gain access to fresh, healthy produce and improve their nutritional knowledge?
You can become a Volunteer Team Lead at WISEPlace today to further develop your leadership skills while you lead a team of other volunteers at our Farmer's Markets every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month! This opportunity includes shifts for the following tasks:
- Picking up fresh produce from Tanaka Farms at 9am on Mondays
- Dropping off and setting up the produce in our Community Room
- Helping Participants "shop" the produce and gather what they need
- Cleaning up after the Farmers Markets - this will include wiping tables down, cleaning and drying any utensils utilized, and returning all materials to their proper storage location
- Driving any excess produce to another location in Lake Forest between 2pm - 3pm
